Hikoura belongs to Landon's roommate, who lent her to Landon to fill out his roster.

"C'mon man, you need a sixth Pokemon if you expect to win. It's not like Hikoura's going to go crazy like your rapidash."


Personality

Hikoura is happy-go-lucky and friendly. Fortunately, she's aware of her weight and heat, so she careful not to burn or crush anything she wants to nuzzle up with. Nonetheless, sitting on her shell is still a bad idea.


In Battle

Hikoura, being a tortoise, is rather stationary. She relies on her armor and toughness to weather attacks, and prefers to attack from a distance. This can result in some long battles.

Hikoura can cause jets of flame to erupt from her shell. While she can control where and how the fire erupts, she still needs to actually see what she's trying to hit. If something gets behind her, she just fires blindly until she can maneuver around. Flamethrower lacks the distance of her primary attack.

For whatever reason, Hikoura is able to fire beams of solar energy. This appears as a tiny sun floating above her shell, followed by a beam of light. This is Hikoura's primary attack, due to its range, although she can only aim it where she can see.

Gyro Ball -- a move that baffles Landon every time he sees this happen. Hikoura retracts into her shell, and begins to spin in place. A silver aura surrounds her, then she hurls herself forward. She's usually a little dizzy after using this, and it's very exhausting for her, though, though she also it to haphazardly reposition herself in battle.

"Hikoura" can be translated into "fire shell", and comes from the popular MMORPG "Outside" by Deity Games.

Hikoura will eat coal, though she prefers to sit in the sun to collect energy.
